I am currently the coxswain of the Culver Men's Varsity 4+ team. I started rowing as a freshmen at Culver, and my first season coxed the Boys Novice 8+ and Novice 4+ team to a 1st place finish at the 2018 Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championship in Ohio. In my sophomore year, I became the coxswain of the Men's Varsity 4+ team, and in the spring season of 2019, coxed the team to win the National Championship Regatta. This fall, I was privileged to be the coxswain for the Culver Men's Youth 4+ at the 55th Head of the Charles Regatta 2019, where we earned a 5th place medal. Our team is presently doing winter conditioning in preparation for the Midwest and National championships in the spring, and there is even talk of us going to compete at the Royal Henley Regatta in London this summer if we are selected.
I would very much like to continue rowing in college, and feel that my stature and experience would be beneficial going forward as a coxswain of a college team. I hope to pursue a degree in music composition.
My stats are listed below:
Height: 5’4”
Weight: 108.8 lbs
