Brazilian vice ch...Dear Coach,
My name is Enrico Pizarro, a 17-year-old passionate about rowing and academics. I reside in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, and for the past 5 years, I have been dedicated to Olympic rowing. During this time, I have competed in regional, national, and international competitions, achieving notable successes. Additionally, I am actively involved in coaching at the Crossrowing rowing club.
My ultimate sporting goal is to represent a university team, either in the heavyweight or lightweight category, and contribute to the team's success while pursuing academic excellence.
In 2019, as a Junior athlete, I experienced my first national-level championship, finishing last in the Junior double skiff. However, this setback only fueled my determination to improve. After three years of relentless training and hard work, I proudly became the Brazilian champion in the men's pair Junior boat and men's four skiff Junior in 2022. I also won the bronze medal in the men's eight junior at the South American Junior Championship held in Porto Alegre.
Despite my sporting commitments, I have never allowed my academic performance to falter. With a GPA of 3.23, I secured a scholarship at Colégio Internacional Everest Brasília, where I participated in the American high school provided by WorldedSchool. This course not only enhanced my proficiency in English but also nurtured my critical thinking and research abilities, so in the he end of 2023 I will have both diplomas, American and Brazilian.
Throughout high school, I actively engaged in extracurricular activities, such as intensive courses in entrepreneurship, international relations, and investments. I even participated in the business school, where I honed my skills in creating and presenting startup ideas to successful entrepreneurs. These experiences sparked my passion for business and entrepreneurship, motivating me to explore this field further.
In 2023, I initiated a project at my rowing club, mentoring masters athletes and focusing on their high-performance training for regional competitions. I applied my marketing skills to promote my private lessons and managed schedules efficiently. The impact was profound, witnessing individuals transform from sedentary lifestyles to active participants in rowing competitions. These experiences further fueled my desire to find innovative solutions to help others in need.
Becoming a part of a university team is not just a dream but a well-defined goal within my reach. I am determined to seize this opportunity to gain access to exceptional business and finance teachings. Equipped with this knowledge framework, I can pursue my entrepreneurial aspirations while maintaining a high level of dedication to rowing.
I am sincerely interested in giving my utmost dedication to any opportunity you may grant me. My family's financial constraints prevent me from pursuing this education abroad without assistance. Therefore, I am eagerly looking forward to the possibility of discussing this further.
Please feel free to contact me via email at [email protected] or phone at 61991483946.
Thank you for considering my application.
Sincerely,
Enrico Pizarro
