Nikola Kojic '25 Recruiting Profile

I hope to be a great candidate for your team. I am dedicated, hardworking and a strong believer in well-rounded education; combination of good academic achievements, strong athletic abilities and a commitment to being an honest and respectful person.  My plan is to maintain a high GPA while giving my best in all rowing practices.  Combination of these traits can be a great asset for every team.  Rowing is a very big part of my life; I am very passionate about it and I cannot imagine doing anything else.

I have always been dedicated to my sport and take my training seriously.  I feel very comfortable in a team environment where we all work together to achieve a goal. Being a part of a team and working together is my favorite part of rowing.  I always want new challenges and to be competitive but at the same time I respect my teammates and coaches.  My goal is not only to grow academically but also to be a part of a team where coaches trust their athletes to try their best and where I will be able to give best rowing performances.  

I constantly strive to improve myself physically and mentally, and always push my limits and go an extra mile to be stronger athlete and better student.   I have both athletic and real-life experience that built me as a person and can contribute to the team.  It was never a problem for me to do whatever it takes to be better fit for my team and to provide moral support to my teammates. I take pride at being able to fit in every environment and situation that I came across in life.  I learned to adjust and fit in from a very early age. I have a very international background and have both studied and lived in Austria, Serbia and now in the United States. I am fluent in three languages: German, Serbian and English language.  As you may know, all three of the above nations are very athletic and successful in many sport activities.  I was blessed to have an opportunity to learn from wonderful coaches in the past and to choose rowing as my priority.
