Won the Verie E. Hartwell Award as a sophomore at Glastonbury (CT) High School in spring 2017, the first sophomore to win the equivalent of the men's crew MVP award (head coach Steve Somosky). As a high school freshman, rowed bow on the 2016 CT State Championship men's novice 8+ boat, which finished 6th as a JV boat at the public schools nationals in Philadelphia. Currently rowing bow on LWT 4+ Varsity A and 7 seat on 8+ Varsity B for Asheville Youth Rowing Association (head coach Jack Gartner) as a junior at TC Roberson High School (Asheville, NC). Started rowing in 7th grade at Riverfront Rowing Inc in Hartford, CT (head coach Brian Wendry). Rows port or starboard, bow or stern. All coaches past and present will attest to Sevi's coachability, attitude, exceptional technical skills, fitness, teamwork and work ethic. With extensive rowing experience and achievement on several levels, Sevi will make an immediate impact on any college program in America or the U.K. (Sevi is a dual citizen of the UK and USA).
