JT Carson '21 Recruiting Profile

Some people have asked me "how do I do it?"  "When you truly love soccer and football, your teammates and coaches; you follow your heart."  "It requires courage and brute force for speed and precision, with strategy."  Spiritual power, sense of responsibility, and dedication in competition. "I love every minute of it!!" 

As a player playing two similar sports, I have the best of both worlds.  My ultimate goal is to become a better player through hard work, persistence, and laughter.  In both sports,  I have had the opportunities to face new challenges,  be exposed to new cultures and environments, adapt to change, physical and mental strength, ability to make friends easily and readiness to learn more.  

No matter the circumstances, I will and continue to support my teammates, encourage those around me to never give up, and always give 110% on and off the field.  When things seem difficult, and pressures rise, I get anxious and excited all at the same time. Striving to be the best, but also having the ability to step back  and remember to have fun. 

My goal is to continue play soccer while studying pre med in college.

I am thankful for the support of my parents who continue to push and cheer me on. I am grateful for the leadership and training opportunities I have experienced through different styles of coaching and players (friendships made) through my life while playing sports.
