Personal Statement
Ever since I was a kid I’ve always had the goal of playing soccer in college. I am a student of the game. I analyze my game footage, I work on my technical abilities every day, and I strive to be the best leader I can. I love the game and I’ve always wanted to compete at the highest level I possibly can. The life skills that I’ve learned through soccer are priceless. I’ve learned how to recover from failure, persistence, dedication, leadership, and grit. All of these skills have served me well in academics as well. I always have held myself to the highest standard, and I am constantly looking to improve my academics and athletics. I hope to play soccer in college and pursue a degree in Athletic Training, Sports Science, Physical Therapy, or Kinesiology. In conclusion you will not find another player like me that is as dedicated to my sport and academics. I believe that I have the leadership, technical ability, and the tactical IQ to make an impact at any college program.
