Personal Statement
Ever since I've been a little kid, I've always had a dream to play college soccer and at the next level. Soccer has been an important game in my life, helping shape the person who I am today. From an early age, I've learned the values of teamwork and positivity, and being the captain of my club team, my job is to show these attributes on and off the field. Not only does this effect the people around me in a positive way, but it also helps me become the person I want to be. Secondly, I have learned how to be competitive and play with a winning mindset. Playing at the highest levels of youth soccer such as ECNL and at a MLS Academy has taught me how to be the absolute best at everything I do. Whether that's finding that final pass to unlock a defense, working back on defense, scoring goals, or to have top-notch grades in school. Which brings me to my third point: I am an excellent student athlete. Although soccer is very important to me, school is just as important. I try and challenge myself in school by being involved in the most advanced classes our school provides. In conclusion, I believe that I have what it takes to be a top collegiate athlete and a great addition to any team.
