I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. It has always provided me with new challenges. As a home schooler, I have always relied on recreational soccer. But I worked hard and was able to compete at the high school level. I've been lucky enough to have good coaches to help me identify new challenges. Every day after school, I go outside and work on my touches and shooting. I want to improve myself as much as I can.
I was able to become a high school Varsity player when I was fifteen. I scored the first goal of the first game that year. One of my biggest challenges was moving from a solo player to a team player. I used to be a forward player with all the goals and glory. But when I moved to a midfield position, I started to realize that I needed to start trusting my team and passing them the ball. Now I can see the whole field and understand when something needs to happen.
