My name is Jarrett Fortune and I am from Anchorage Alaska. I am attending Lumen Christi High School where I have played soccer for 3 years in high school and 2 years in junior high. I will graduate in 2017 and will have finished my 4th year of soccer in high school as a starter. I have been on the Honor Roll throughout my education. I have wanted to pursue a career in architecture or engineering since junior high. I am an Eagle Scout and have completed many hours of community service.
I am 5’11” 160 lbs., and I am an agile forward with great stamina. I am a leader on the field by providing direction and encouragement to my teammates. Over my years of playing this sport, I have played a forward and an attacking midfielder. I have had a passion for soccer since I first played when I was 4 years old. I am focused on the field with the desire to put the ball in the net. If I get injured or am knocked down, I always get back up and want to play more. I am very competitive and have the drive to win. I am very coachable and like learning new skills.
Wherever I end up going to college, I will do my absolute best to succeed as a student-athlete. I am up to the challenge to be a member of your team.
