Connor Kane '24 Recruiting Profile

As the first United States citizen on my mom‘s side, I am looking forward to attending college to further my education and seek opportunities her family never had in her home country.  I am a dedicated soccer devotee who trains just as hard in the off season as well as in preparation for upcoming matches. I have trained in Europe(France-ICEF) and South America(Argentina, Uruguay).  I was selected to attend ODP Regional ID camp in Oregon. I was the only freshman to make the varsity soccer team at my 5A high school(Verrado HS).  I was the leading scorer on the team all the way through state playoffs. Recognitions I received my freshman year are Desert West Region Offensive Player of the Year, Desert West 1st team All-Region, and 2nd team All-Conference, Verrado High School Offensive Player of the Year, and team MVP.  I currently play for a club team that competes in the highest level in Arizona.  As a sophomore, I repeated the accomplishments of Desert West Region Offensive Player of the Year, Desert West 1st team All-Region, and 2nd team All-Conference, Verrado High School Offensive Player of the Year, and team MVP with the addition of Desert West Region player of the year and the team‘s captaincy.   I joined the varsity cross country team and placed 1st in the first 2 meets and other meets, one of which carrying a 5K time of 17:38. As a Junior, I repeated the accomplishments of Desert Desert West 1st team All-Region, and 2nd team All-Conference, Verrado High School Leadership Award with the addition of 1st team all-state and the team‘s captaincy.  In March 2023, I went to Argentina and Uruguay to train and scrimmage against top clubs.  I was invited to return to Uruguay in the summer of 2023 to train with Albion FC. I joined SC Del Sol MLS Next which traveled to California for games and tournaments for top tier competition.
