Rogelio Canez '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rogelio I. Canez and I am interested in playing soccer for your program. I am 6’1 and 170 lbs with a 2.9 GPA. I have just finished my sophomore season as the starting Center Back for Nationally ranked Pima College in Arizona where this season we won our Conference and earned a spot in the West District Tournament. Our trip to District was cancelled and now our season is over. I was named to the ACCAC All Conference Team (1). I currently have 7 official visits scheduled for the next month but want to get to know your program and open up the possibility of getting recruited. In less than one year I have competed in two National Tournaments, and my goal is to compete in more and win. I am playing in Junior College in order to better my grades from High School but I feel that I am without a doubt a Division 1 level player. Off the field, I have a 2.9 GPA and started my own company called Vintage Craft Pomade. On the field, I competed against academies from over the world and was the champion of big tournaments as a regular starter.

I am a hard-working player with a winning mentality and high level experience. I practice every day and believe in giving my best to my coach, team, and teachers.
