Personal Statement

I have been playing Soccer since I was six years old, starting with AYSO. Whenever my parents treated me to a new toy all I ever wanted was a new ball, just different size and color. Maybe that comes from my Dad being Hispanic and my Mom being English. I Have played on  many teams in Tucson, starting with AYSO and progressed onto Club teams at the age of 10. Alot of the times I played up an age group. At one time I played for the Charlton Athletic club from England when they opened in Tucson. Because of this I got to be a 'Ball Boy' at the Charlton vs West Ham game in England which was televised. This was arranged for us while we were there on Vacation. My family got free tickets to see the game and apparently we were mentioned in their program a few weeks prior announcing we would be there. It was like we were V.I.P's. Then, unfortunately my family moved to a rural area where there are no club teams at all.I have had fitness training, ball training and lots more. I have played on the varsity team since my freshman year and am always a starting player. I  plan on playing in my senior year, the Coach has already asked me to be Captain of the team for the upcoming season. In my sophmore and Junior years I also helped Coach at each practise. Since I started school I have always wanted to play college soccer and have made sure my grades and attitude will allow me to do so.

I have many awards in soccer. Sportsman award, coaches award, all region team award to name but a few.

I weigh 125lbs, stand 5' 11". My B.M.I is 17, I have 8% body fat.

In 6th grade I was second place in the overall school history, running 1 mile in 6 mins 17 sec. I also held the first place position for cross country in that grade that year.

I also represent my high school in track. I compete in Pole Vault, 4 x 4 and sometimes the 400m. This last year I completed the 400m in 51seconds and pole vaulted 11 feet 6 inches on an 11 foot 6 inch pole. I have also been approached to play on my High School Football team this year to be there Varsity Kicker.

I am already enrolled in the Northland Pioneer College  Fire Science program through my high schooI and participate in a volunteer/education explorers program with our local fire department. I want to major in fire science to be a fire fighter or to join the Air Fore to be a fire fighter. When i graduate high school i will hopefully have my associates in fire science or ill be very close to it.

I was also the Varsity kicker on my schools Football team for 2011-2012. Kick off's would go clear to the end zone every time.
