Personal Statement
I moved across the country from Georgia to Arizona when I was young, and that gave me the skills to adapt to new places, and confidence that I could fit in anywhere. I've had a soccer ball at my feet for as long as I can remember, my dad played soccer in college and professionally, so I've been playing and watching soccer my whole life. I am working hard to be a great student athlete and graduate with a GPA of 3.5+. In college, my goals are to become the best athlete, and student I can be, while maintaining relationships between teammates and coaches throughout my career. What makes me a great candidate for a college soccer program, is my competitiveness, and work ethic. My parents were both athletes, and my family is very competitive . When I was young, my brother and I were extremely competitive. He used to beat my at everything, from playing soccer to who could eat their dinner faster. I would do everything I could to make sure I could beat him and that is where my competitiveness came from. Watching my parents come from nothing and create the environment that my family has now, has made me want to work as hard as I can to make them proud. What makes me different than other recruits, is that I am a natural leader who can come into a program and push all the others guys to become a better version of themselves everyday. Athletically I focus a lot of my time trying to become better at the sports that I play, and to create chemistry with all of my teammates so we can all perform better on the field. Outside of soccer, I like working on Jeeps and trucks, being outdoors, snowboarding, golfing, and video games. On top of that I play football as a cornerback and a kicker for my high school football team.
