Ethan Eckhardt '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan Eckhardt and I have been playing soccer as long as I can remember. Soccer has been my passion for over the past 10 years and I want to pursue it and take my skill to the next level. I was intrigued from an early age because of the people around me which pushed to stay with the sport throughout my early stages in life. From playing soccer at a club and high school level I have learned a lot of useful knowledge on and off the field from my coaches, mentors, and peers which I try to apply to my every day lifestyle and use it as motivation to keep pursuing my passion. My current goals in high school are to be a student athlete who puts their education first but also takes athletics as a high priority. Last year our high school team fell just short of our goal of a state championship so it has been our motivate to get better in all aspects of our game including the mental portion. I believe I am a great team player who has the motivate to overcome all obstacles, I am a good listener who is able to understand and receive feedback from coaches and peers well because there is always more to learn.
