My name is Brede Kidd. I am a starting forward / outside midfielder playing for the U17 Delta Coastal Selects Metro Boys Team. I currently train with my club team twice a week, play one game per week and occasionally play an additional weekly game with the U18 Delta Coastal Selects Metro Boys Team. I am currently a starter on my high school senior boys soccer team which practices once a week and plays two games per week. In addition to my soccer training, I attend the local gym a minimum of 3 times per week for cross training fitness.
Back in April 2017 I attended the Wolverhampton National ID Camp in Wolverhampton, UK. This experience affected my life in a huge way. While I was there, I met several players who I still talk to today, both younger and older. During my time playing for the Wolves I was lucky enough to watch the U15 and U16 Youth Academy Team. This experience affected my life because it made me realize that you have to work as hard as you can to someday experience the same opportunities. It has also made me realize that I would do anything I could to play at a professional level someday.
I started playing soccer when I was 4 years old. During my time as a soccer player I have learned that getting along with your team and working as a unit is way more important than to be a selfish individual. The past year I have been focusing as hard as I can on excelling academically. It is very important to me to be the best I can in academics and sports. For college I would like to come out of school with a degree in something that interests me, which would most likely be in the field of sports and recreation. During my younger years as a soccer player I was definitely on the smaller side being only 5'3 until the age of 15 where I sprouted up to 5'8 and now have grown to 5'10. While being a smaller player, I had to learn to play quick, think quick and play smart. I would be a good addition to your team because of my passion and desire for the game I've loved since before I was 4 years old.
