My name is Jacob Boyd, and I’m a versatile midfielder from Surrey, BC, playing for Coastal FC BCSPL 2009 BOYS, and captaining the Sullivan Heights varsity team as a first year. I’m confident playing as a defensive mid, in the 8, or in an attacking role, bringing high intensity, vision, and composure under pressure. I also have extensive experience at center-back, and that background helps me excel defensively in midfield — reading the game early, winning challenges, staying positionally disciplined, while also working my hardest.

I’m a smart defender who leads by example, communicates constantly, and puts the team first. Off the field, I’m highly focused on academics. I take pride in consistently studying, staying organized, and pushing myself to excel in the classroom just as much as I do on the field. I also referee BCSPL and premier-level matches, which has sharpened my awareness and deepened my understanding of the game. I’m committed to continuing my growth as a leader, teammate, and student-athlete at the collegiate level.
