I currently play a left-back position. I started in club playing centerback, though I enjoy the attacking play as the leftback. I've played since I was 5 years old and my passing accuracy as well as my ability to read the attacking player are my best 2 attributes. I started playing club futbal at age 11 with Legends FC and I'm on the 2022/2023 roster for both Legends E64 and ECNL. I played Varsity and in CIF playoffs for 3 of my 4 years in high school. We finished the Spring 2021 high school year as league champions and failed to advance in playoffs. In the 2022 season our team lost in round 2 of playoffs and secured the league title again. In my Senior year, we advanced in CIF to quarterfinals and failed to advance to semis.
My intentions are to be eligible for an athletic scholarship at an university playing NCAA men's soccer. I want to further my career in college soccer and seek a degree in a field related to sports/sports medicine. I think I would really enjoy working with athletes. I understand how important the mental aspects of my sport are to personal success.
I've taken on an athlete-mentality to everything it takes to prepare for matches. I'm an athlete, I work out at the gym, eat properly and prepare myself both physically and mentally for each match.
