Throughout my life I was told that in order to fully succeed in life, I need to have a plan. College has become my plan because I am well-aware of all the possibilities it offers. That is why I have a backup plan in case playing at the collegiate level does not go my way. I am currently deciding between pursuing a career in Photography, Journalism, or Veterinary. I am passionate about each of these fields and would love to make a career out of one.
I believe I am a great candidate for a college team because I have several qualities that put me above the others. For example, I am not afraid to speak my mind and have an open mind with the other players or other coaches. If I notice something is wrong, I am willing to tell the coach what I see and propose to him or her an idea that might benefit us. Also, when a certain player is not completing his job, am I always the first one to go to him and say how to better perform or give advice.
This determination to better myself also runs in the classroom. When I notice a problem in my grades or if there is an issue with homework, I am always emailing my teachers about it or I will directly go to them in person and speak with them about it. This is why I am a proper fit for colleges.
