Personal Statement
In this world, we are brought into society and are instructed to find purpose. There are 7 billion in this world, each with their own life meaning. As I was young, and grew into a young man I would always mediate on the concept; the idea that my life would be summarized in one word. In itself purpose cannot be out into a singular box, as the word is defined in various different ways based on the person perfeptions and world views. I have always strived to be different; to dedicate every ounce of my soul into my craft, into what drives me to improve and supersede my limitations and to metaphorically break the glass ceiling that is the critique of those whom doubt me. I have always known that being a soccer player was what I was good at. Since I was young I put my blood, sweat, and tears into it. I always wanted to work with my team to improve myself and in the end help the whole squad as collective. I am a leader, one who inspires others by putting my all into, I always want to put my best foot forward. I will take leaps of faith if it means getting what I want. My dream is to be a profesional and live for what I love; nothing will stop be. That is who I am. That is what makes Josiah Alvarez.
