Personal Statement
When I first started playing soccer at four years old I did not quite understand what it meant to be a leader, but after being a captain for the past four years I have realized that it is more showing peers what to do, rather than telling them what to do. After losing a state cup final when I was eleven I realized the importance of work ethic, commitment, sacrifice, and attention to detail. Those traits have helped me grow as a player and as a person on and off the pitch. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically and athletically. I believe that I have the talent as well as the work ethic, commitment, willingness to sacrifice, and attention to detail to make an impact on your program.
