Nicolas Martello '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Nicolas Martello and I am what they call a student athlete. I am very dedicated to my studies and one-hundred percent focused when I hit the field. During my college career I would like to have a great experience playing the game I am most passionate about, but more importantly also excel in the field of study I am interested in which is mechanical and civil engineering as well as mathematics. The reason I feel I am a good candidate for your college team is because I am a leader, never give less then 100%, and most importantly I am a very coachable player. I feel what makes me different from other recruits is that I am a team player. I make sure my team is 100% and when someone is having a bad day I bring them up, lift their spirits and move on from the grief. I like to say that I am very responsible because I always put school first then soccer. I never feel content with anything less than a B in my academics and I push myself to the limits to succeed on and off the field.
