Personal Statement

My goal is to finish off high school with good grades and play college soccer at the next level. In the future, I want to become a physical therapist or a veterinarian. I always strive first to have good grades in school and also in the field. I am very passionate and love playing soccer and will do anything to make it to the next level.  I am able to play all positions in defense and I am always an option for any position my coach wants to put me.

What makes me different from other recruits is that I am very determined, strong, hard worker, leader, mindset, and dedicated. Whenever my team concedes a goal it is very important how we react and I try my best to motivate and bring up my teammates. I have a great mindset always thinking positive for myself and my team. When I go in I play with my heart and always aim to win. As, a defender I play the hardest by challenging every ball in the air, winning every 50 to 50 balls, keeping possession of the ball, communicating with my teammates, sacrificing myself to win the ball. I would come out with turf burns from all the tackles I would do in the game. When it comes to practice and games I stay very focused and take it very seriously. I train at 110% percent because the way we train is the way we are going to play. I don't want my teammates or me to be slacking off at any time in training and especially the games. I want to reach my highest potential as I watch the recordings of my games to see what I could have done better. I watch it 2 or 3 times because sometimes you miss some stuff. Also, I ask my coach how I can improve as a player. When it comes to the field and in the classroom, I am very responsible for completing all my assignments and not missing any practice. School is always first and if there is anything I need to do for my classes I stay after school to do it. I am not afraid of challenges that I'm put through because I'm strong and I'll face them.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
