Personal Statement
I am very motivated, both in the classroom, and on the field. Being raised by parents who always push me to be my best, I have found myself very much supported. I am very competitive, and try my hardest to, at the very least, improve something every time I step on the field, and every time I enter the classroom. While I am very competitive, I am a firm believer in being a good teammate, as I feel good teammates offer a kind of support and encouragement from a common perspective, as they too are young athletes. I wish to play soccer at the collegiate level, and hope to pursue an education in psychology or criminology, so I can A. Be a better human and teammate by better understanding the human mind, and B. Using this knowledge, make a difference in the world, and more importantly, in my own community. Being a Boy Scout, I learned throughout my years in the BSA Organization to always help others, and to do the right thing. I see myself as a motivated person, with a supportive family foundation, the desire to win, and the goal to not only improve myself, but my teammates aswell.
