Soccer is a passion of mine that I have been cultivating for the last 8 years. I had my first taste of soccer in AYSO when my team won the championship--and I was hooked. Since that time, I have been competing in Club soccer as part of Los Gauchos which merged with Pateadores in 2013. I thoroughly enjoy the strategy of soccer and how each game challenges you to bring your best effort. I play mid fielder and attacking midfielder due to my ability to effectively pass the ball, maintain good ball control, find space, and have vision for my team. I have had a number of incredible coaches who have taught me great technical skills, how to work as effective team member, how to perform under pressure, and leadership skills. The combination of their incredible training and my persistent work ethic have forged me into a strong team player. I was able to join the Varsity team of my school in freshman year, and my teamwork and leadership skills have grown allowing me to be selected as Team Captain during my senior year. I feel that I will be an asset to the College Team that I join due to my consistent work ethic, good attitude, willingness to be coached, and eagerness to continually strive for excellence in my soccer skills.
