Greetings coaches
My name is Logan Kim. I am a student at Westchester Enriched Science Magnet High School in Westchester, California, Class of 2027. My position in soccer is a winger, fullback, and attacking midfielder. Throughout my life, sports have played a significant role in developing who I am today. I first started playing soccer when I was ten years old. However, because of COVID, I couldn’t continue playing and focused on boxing for the next couple of years. Boxing was the most influential change in my life, as I learned valuable life skills and understood the meaning of discipline and faith. I applied all I knew there to the sport I play today: soccer. When I first entered high school, I wanted to play soccer as a hobby when I came to Westchester. But the more I practiced, the more I realized this is what I want to do. My mission is to become a professional soccer player and help the U.S. win the World Cup. Although my career started later than others, I believe I can reach a level unlike anything anyone has seen with hard work, discipline, and dedication. I wish to show the world that people can achieve their dreams with an open mind and heart, even if it seems impossible.
