Playing soccer has created a great environment to have fun, communicate with friends, maintain physical fitness and to compete. At age nine, I discovered my innate ability to juggle the soccer ball starting with about 15 juggles and quickly moving to over 1000 using both left and right feet. Although I favor my left foot when kicking the ball, my ability to comfortably use both has helped me to quickly master ball control, and to become a key player on any soccer team that I play for. The men’s national team coach for my nation has nicknamed me “The Maestro,” after having his first session with our U14 Boys national team.
Over the past 3 years, I have represented my nation on the U14/15 Boys National team, mainly as a central midfielder. Currently, I am training with the U17 National Training Squad. At 14 years old, my local club offered me a special invitation to attend training sessions with the Men’s team which elevated my interest in the game. Hanging with the older, stronger, and faster men has made me realize how fast and intense the game is.
Last summer, I was invited by the Barca Academy to attend an Elite camp in Barcelona Spain and this summer, I have been invited by the PSG Academy to participate in an Elite Pro Academy camp in France. Last school year, I was the leading goal scorer with 8 goals, for my school, in the JV Interschool competition, leading my JV team to winning the Interscholastic JV Soccer Championship. I also chipped in 4 assists. This year, I scored the two winning goals in the final interscholastic Varsity game, with my team winning the championship game 2-1. I am ready to take this same energy and commitment to the collegiate level. I know this will take a lot of hard work and time and I have already started to work with a personal fitness coach and trainer to help make this a smooth transition. I am currently with the class of 2027 but based on my completed course work and my dedication to exceling in academics as well, I am on target to complete high school with the class of 2026.
When I am not busy working on physical fitness or playing soccer, I work as a musician playing the Alto Saxophone at community or private events. I also play the drums and experiment with music composition.
