Currently I'm a junior at Enterprise High School in Redding, CA. I just finished my high school soccer season where our team was seeded 2nd in the Northern Section Div-1 play-offs. Individually I had a very good season scoring 10 goals and 9 assists while playing over half of our season at either a holding or attacking midfielder which was a new experience for me playing out of my regular position (forward).I was voted to the Sacramento River Leagues 1st Team All League this year and also received the Coaches Trophy for Team MVP. In my varsity season as a sophomore I received the coaches trophy for Offensive MVP and also received the same award in my Freshman year on the Junior Varsity. I have been playing competitive soccer since my second year of U-10's and have competed at every level that California soccer offers except Premiere and ODP. I haven't participated at these levels only because the closest teams are 2 and 1/2 hours travel time one way to get to practices. To satisfy my desire to play at a higher level I have been afforded the opportunity locally to play up an age group. For the past 3 years I played forward for my club teams and have lead them in goals with almost as many assists.
My on-field strengths are my field of vision, first touch, one and two touch passing, and I have been gifted with speed and quick feet. I am comfortable playing any forward position or outside midfielder. I have become a student of the game having attended a couple of week long college camps when I was 14 and 15 at Cal Poly that have really changed the way I play and view the game. Over the past 2 years I have had the privilege of playing with a National-A licensed coach with additional certifications and has coached at the college level. Possession soccer has been stressed and is my favorite type of game. I have worked very hard over the past 4 years trying to get as good at it as I can. I am a quick study and easy to coach. This year I made the travel commitment and I'm now playing with my current club team the Cal Blues, a Premiere team out of Rocklin, CA. My goals for the future are to get a good college education and play college soccer at the highest level that I'm capable of.
