I started playing soccer when I was six and fell in love with the sport. It’s my goal to play at the highest level possible. I know that to accomplish this it will take a lot of hard work, time, commitment, practice and much more; all of which I’m wanting and willing to do. I have been blessed to be surrounded by family, teammates, coaches, and friends who have all supported me, pushed me, and molded me to be the player and person I am today. I’m honored to be the captain of both my club team and my high school D1 varsity team, as a sophomore. During my club season, I led my team in both goals and assists. For my freshman and sophomore year of high school my school team advanced to section finals, only to take second both years. This has driven me to intensify my practice and work on specific parts of my game. In addition, I am taking AP and honors classes to challenge myself academically. My goal is to continually improve and play soccer for as long as I can. Playing in college would be a dream come true. I believe that I am an impact player who thrives on adversity, and can lead your team to win championships. Coaches, thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement and good luck with your upcoming season!
