What sets me apart as a center back and a player in general are my leadership skills and my field awareness. When there is a defensive need, I take charge and communicate with my teammates about set plays, counter attacks, and offensive plays from the opposing team. I always keep my head on a swivel and constantly asses and adjust my position based on what I see on the field. Aside from soccer I play tennis and go mountain biking and skiing for fun. I am currently a C/CMSgt. in Civil Air Patrol at Shasta Composite Squadron 126 where I am learning leadership skills and developing my character. I am aiming high and plan to become an officer in the Air Force and fly as a fighter pilot.
Ever since I was 5, soccer was my favorite sport. I played rec soccer every year in fall and spring and loved every second of it. I was good, but I wasn't great. I wanted to excel as a soccer player so when I was 11 I attended as many soccer camps as I could over the summer. When I started my rec season again, those 3 camps made something click, and I suddenly became the top goal scorer on our team. After the Spring season, I thought "why stop now?" and I joined my first competitive team Kaos Strykers. This is where a lot of my growth began and hasn't stopped ever since.
I currently play for the Olympic Development Program (ODP) Cal North Soccer Team.
