Personal Statement
Since the age of seven, time and time again, I have received challenges on and off the field that I have overcome. I started a new club team at the age of seven, playing with kids one or two years older than me for four straight years. Since that time, I have been elected my club team captain every year, stepping up to the challenge and inspiring others. As I head into the college stage of my life, I am committed to finding a school and team that will continue to challenge and push me outside of my comfort zone, both academically and athletically, so I can become a greater player and overall a better person in life.
Over this past year, my soccer mind has been challenged. I have gained the courage to lead teams, take the last shots and score, call to obtain the ball, and give the perfect through ball. Yet, unlike others, I remain modest and humble, give a couple of high fives and return to the field and to the gym with a 100% intention to become better. With my worth ethic, mindset, and natural ability, I assure you that regardless of the style of play or academic level offered at your school, I will be dedicated to making your program better.
