It is my goal to attend a strong academic college and to play soccer at the college level. In July 2013, I moved to San Diego, California from Berlin, Germany. I am attending San Diego High School and play soccer for the San Diego Surf U18 USSF Academy team where I play Center Back. I have played competitive soccer as a defender and mid-fielder for 8 years in Germany. In my last year´s season in Germany I was selected to play for the higher level team, U18 (A Jugend) where I played over 20 games as a starter for a Berlin club team that competes at the second highest league level called Landesliga before the professional league levels. This experience has taught me to play soccer as a team player against highly competitive teams and has strengthened my ability as a soccer player. I place a lot of value on academics too and although I do not yet know what I would like to study in college, I am seeking a college with a strong academic program, perhaps with programs in sports medicine or similar majors.
