Michael Bertiglia '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Michael (Mike) Bertiglia. I am currently 16 years old and attend St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, CA. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. I have always known that I want to play soccer as a career and I am ready to bring my game to the collegiate level and hopefully to the professional level. I would like to play for a competitive Division 1 or 2 college. I play left back for my club team Marin FC and for the Cal North ODP State Team. I like to attack down the line as a left back but I also excel in one-on-one defending. I make a good candidate for a team because of my skills in soccer and my charismatic personality. I am different than other recruits due to my ability to train hard in everything I do and my ability to take feedback and get better as a player and person.
