Personal Statement
I've been playing soccer just about my whole life, and competitively since 4th grade. I love the game and am committed to playing at the collegiate level. I'm currently a Senior at St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco, and a three-year starting mid-fielder on Varsity in the competitive WCAL. This past 2019-2020 season our team made it to the Open Division Playoffs. I also play for San Francisco Elite Academy (SFEA) on the '02 team. We compete in the Champions Division and are coached by college level coaches. I'm a physical player who can score, create scoring opportunities for my teammates, and control the midfield with strong ball control and tackling. My speed and stamina allow me to play box to box.
Academically, I currently have a 3.4 G.P.A. in my senior year in a rigorous college prep curriculum. I do well in all core subjects, and enjoy my English classes the most. I am considering Sports Management as a major in college. Getting a good education is very important to me and my family. Both of my parents have advanced degrees, my older brother just graduated from Boston College, and my other brother is a senior at Loyola university Chicago.
Personally, I am very social and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have played multiple sports competitively for all my life including soccer, football, basketball and baseball. I've stopped playing other sports except soccer to pursue my dream of playing at the next level. Outside of soccer, my family and I enjoy playing golf and it gets pretty competitive with my brothers! I also do a lot of volunteer work in the community and coach young kids in sports.
