Personal Statement
From the first time I touched a soccer ball at the age of four, I was in love with the beautiful game. I have used soccer as a temporary escape from the real world for thirteen years but my ultimate goal from soccer is to unlock the door to a four-year college degree.
I have worked tirelessly and with laser focus as both a student and an athlete. I have passed on parties and late nights. I'm not a trouble maker and my social media is always conscious. I have achieved the right to play at the collegiate level. My most noteworthy differentiators are that I have 100% confidence in myself and that I do not need motivation from other people. As a young player, I was smaller than the average player and I had to work harder than everyone else. I've learned to depend on myself and to develop camaraderie and communication with my teammates so we function as one.
