My name is Sam Johnson and I will graduate from San Luis Obispo High School in 2019.
I play soccer for my high school and the Santa Barbara Premier Club. While I’ve enjoyed playing high school soccer, having the opportunity to play for my club and Coach Gof Boyoko has been a huge motivator and influence on not only my game but also my desire to play in college. Coach Boyoko has pushed me hard to be the best player on the field that I’m capable of. He holds his athletes to a high level of accountability both on and off the field. My strengths include consistency, vision, the ability to open up the field and pass exceptionally well. I’m a supportive team player at all times. I train year round and am a healthy, fit player. Over the years, my coaches have provided the feedback that I’m very coachable and respond well to their instruction. I have the utmost respect for my coaches and appreciate them making me a better player.
My goals in college are to contribute to a soccer team while studying in the field of Business/Finance or Statistics leading to a lifelong career I enjoy and contributes to my community.
