My name is Austin Francisco, 2019 Grad class from Rolling Hills Prep HS in Southern California where I was 2nd Team All League as a Junior. I am a strong midfielder looking to play collegiate soccer and as a unselfish Midfielder, I work hard to help my teammates succeed. In 2017/18 my club team was Fram 01–Lima. Coach Lima is a Div 1 Assistant coach for LMU and implemented high-intensity college style soccer to his team. The Fram 01 team achievements include: Finalists at the 2017 November Nights Elite Showcase and SoCal cup, and Semifinalist 2017 NHB Cup.
For 2018/19 I have accepted to play up for the Fram 00 Lagerwey team. This will be a new challenge with tougher competition to improve my play. I started playing club soccer at 8.
I am a three Sport Varsity athlete (Soccer, Football, and Baseball) and as the Varsity Football placekicker hold school record for most PATs per game and season. I am a hardworking left-footed player, serious about my studies. My family moved me to Rolling Hills Prep to increase my focus on academics and continue to challenge myself to do better in school. Most of my club experience has been at Holding Mid, however, I have successfully made the transition to Left/Right/Attacking Mid. On my high school team, I play Holding and Attacking Mid which has increased my versatility. This has put additional skills in my toolbox towards being a top-level utility player.
I would love to play at the college level and look forward to hearing from you to find out if I’m a match for you and your college. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile! I look forward to speaking with you about your program. Please take a look at my video and feel free to comment as I am always looking for ways to improve. Austin Francisco: Wing/Center Mid Austin is a left footed player that can beat you with a dribble or a pass. He can play wide or in the middle. He has a bit of a tenacious attitude when he plays. Making him a key player on the team. On the wing, he generate offense by combining with the forwards and/or midfielders and running off of them. He serves a good left footed ball or make good runs to end inside to finish crosses. He can also cut inside for a shot. Austin can play on both wings. On the right side, he can come inside and float a ball in or shoot and from the left he can turn the corner on defenders and delivers a good ball for his teammates to finish. On the defensive side, he does track back or pinches in and help defensively. As a center mid, Austin can help generate offense with his dribble and passing range. Things to improve... He needs to get stronger to win more 50/50 battles in the middle, upper body stronger so he doesn’t get push off the ball. -A.
