A little bit about me and my goals... As a collegiate level player my goal is to not only bring a winning attitude and a positive atmosphere, but to also bring a hardworking one, with consistency and dedication to the program, the staff, and the team as a whole. Furthermore with those aspects, my biggest goal is to try to have a winning record with my team through all four years, and to put our team in tournament position every year, whether I'm contributing from on or off the field. Truly I believe what makes me a good candidate for any team is my coachability, my ability to adapt to new surroundings quickly, and the ability to be a player coach with such high soccer IQ. I believe above all that my soccer IQ will always prevail over my skill. I think what really sets me apart from most recruits is the fact that, A, I am able to admit my faults and recognize the areas where my skill is inferior, and put in the time to fix it, however no matter where that skill level is my IQ will always triple it, I pride myself on being able to scan the field, and be able to see multiple plays ahead. Secondly, to further fortify my belief that there isn't another recruit out there like me, through my time in these gaps years, I have persevered some tremendous obstacles, some, people wouldn't even be able to fathom, for example such as being homeless for a period of time. I feel that these scenarios that have happened in my life have not only grown me as a man and as a person but have also helped me mature, levels beyond my age group, but to tie that all in, it directly translates into all aspects of life, such as, soccer. The ability to really anchor down and persevere through the hard times, such as a rebuilding phase, or to be the veteran player role, with my experiences inside and out of soccer I can be any role that either the coaches or the players need me to be and I feel that truly is something you do not find all to often in a player. With that said in my gap years I have continued to play soccer and stay involved in areas that I would like to study in college, my goals academically are to try to maintain a 3.0 gpa at the lowest and try to be honors at the end of every semester,
