Julian Garcia '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Julian Garcia, I am a 150 lbs, 5'7, center midfielder. Focus, hard work and dedication define everything I do in life. I have always taken as much pride in my schoolwork as my athletic achievements.  Maintaining a high GPA no matter the level of classes is very important to me.  I do whatever necessary to reach my full potential as a student-athlete.  Doing so allows me to stay eligible on the field, set a positive example as a team leader and be there for my teammates when they need me most.

Soccer has been very important to me and has been an essential factor in my life. Growing up I always enjoyed having a ball at my feet, the sport automatically clicked with me.  At the age of 5, I started playing soccer in my local recreational league. I take lots of pride in being a team leader. I always prepare for and expect success in everything I do. To me, attitude means everything, anything can be approached adequately with a good attitude. Given the opportunity to continue my goal of achieving excellence both in the classroom and the soccer pitch, doing what I enjoy the most, would be an amazing experience.
