Thomas Dews '20 Recruiting Profile

    I started playing soccer in second grade, but it wasn't until I began high school that I really began to understand and admire the beauty and creativity of the sport. Since that point, soccer has become an addiction for me. In addition to practicing four to five days a week during both my high school and club seasons, I constantly dribble a ball around the living room and watch premier league games on the weekends. I believe that all the extra focus on soccer has given me a strong soccer brain, and I use this knowledge to be the best player and teammate that I can be.

    I can't wait for college and the academic goals that come with it. Many students and teachers consider me to be leader in the classroom. I encourage all of my classmates to do their best academically, and I always offer my help to those who may need it. My biggest interests in school are science and math courses, and I plan to continue my studies in the medical field during college, where I hope to eventually become a nurse.
