Born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, my family and I moved to Colorado when I was only 3 years old. I was raised by my mom and step dad, although step dad is my father and wouldn’t trade him for anything. He took charge and full responsibility of my sister and me at a very young age, knowing the challenge ahead of him he has never backed down, for more than 30 years he has been working 10+ hours every day under the sun, waking up at 5am every morning all in order to keep food at the table and a roof under our heads. In short my father has been a true inspiration and a role model for me, I push through every challenge, keeping in mind that my father has gone through harder conditions.Soccer in many ways has been my motivation to wake up every day, no matter the obstacles I face. Knowing that overcoming these obstacles will ultimately lead me to my goal of playing competitive college soccer. My desire to win and to succeed has been a key factor in my success, along with high standards that I would have kept for myself. Anywhere I go I plan on winning, I've learned that If one truly works hard one can be wherever one wants to be. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail, a quote that has stuck with me, knowing I will have to work hard in order to achieve my goals, failing do so is simply setting me down.
