Personal Statement
After playing soccer for about a decade, I have learned the importance of team work and leading by example. I don’t remember how I got into soccer, but the sport is still a passion for me and I love playing in a competitive environment. One of the great benefits of playing soccer is meeting new people. No matter what team I have played for, I always make efforts to learn more about my teammates on and off the field; this chemistry translates well into tough game situations and is the reason my teammates chose me to be their captain my junior year.
I have not decided on what to major in yet in college, but I have always enjoyed anything math or science related. So far in high school I’ve worked on learning more every day, and being proactive about my education. I’m quick thinking, friendly, and ready to play.
