When I go out to player soccer, not only do I want to see growth as a player, I want to grow as a person. As a kid I always learned that sports were a hobby or something that you enjoy but as time passed by it became a passion. The relationships and bonds I make with my teammates are what I value the most and helps strengthen my love for the game. Like any other soccer player we aspire to be professional and make our dreams come true but for me I look to grow as a person and become a strong individual. Connecting with others, learning, and growing is what makes me who I am and the reason I play soccer. My club coach once taught me about the Navy Seals 40% rule. The rule is when our mind is telling us to quit, our body actually has only used 40% of its potential. Ever since he taught me this rule my work ethic and play style dramatically changed. Every game, every practice, I give my full 60% that I have left in me. What makes me so different from other players is the way I change the game of soccer. Not only by my skills or my touches, but by who I am as a person. Throughout my soccer career I have been able to impact players, coaches, and show how dedicated and passionate I am for the game for soccer. Thank you for taking your time to read this and hope you either learned something new or got an idea of why I play the game of soccer. #BLESSED
