Personal Statement
Hello I am Logan Smith of Pueblo Colorado and I love soccer! I would really enjoy playing soccer in college and beyond. I understand it is important to continue my education beyond High School to have a better career path. I enjoy the technical and collaborative effort it takes to play a soccer game. I thrive on the strategy components , anticipation of the next play, and how to beat my opponent to the ball. My best attribute is winning the ball at a high percentage. I like scoring goals like everyone else but my highest strength in one on one or one on two . Getting the ball by speed and strategy is the job I get the most thrill out of on the field. It is a great feeling grabbing the ball from my opponent and sending it to a team mate or to a goal. I am always looking ahead for the best route to support my team. If the best route is an assist rather than a strike that is the path I will choose. The brotherhood of a team is a great feeling compared to individual sports.
Academics are also important. I am a hard worker. Especially on classes that do not come easy. I have challenged myself in my Freshman year of High School by taking my first AP class. Math comes easy and natural to me. I like my science and history classes as they are interesting. English is one that I work at and is a little harder for me. I am not sure as a freshmen in High School what higher education path I would like to follow. Currently I am in introduction to Health fields and Introduction to Construction technology. I am thinking some path of engineering might be for me.
