Personal Statement

The 10-0 loss I endured to St. Johns during the DCSAA Championship Semi-Finals was the toughest moment of my career. One that I'd like to think of as forgettable, yet important. It made me remember all the hard work I've put into this sport overcoming multiple injuries that spanned over two years. Nothing beats determination and pure heart, which are two qualities I think are most representative of myself. Soccer runs in the family,  and I've always wanted to be like my older brothers, so naturally, I started playing and fell in love with it. From a young age, I was taught technique, technique, technique, which is why I trained with both feet constantly, and I watch hours of tapes from the greatest players in history trying to learn a from them. I'm very interested in seeking out higher education and pursuing studies in engineering with high academic scores at a rigorous International Baccalaureate school, and I'd love to play soccer at the same school I'm studying at.

  • Notes:
  • 2018 DC Stoddert Blue
  • Notes: The season was very light during the fall due to High School Soccer. We have only played a couple of games, and our tournaments have been canceled due to weather. There is training all throughout the winter and the season picks up again in the spring.
  • 2017 Bethesda -Olney Academy
  • Notes: We had practices 4 times a week which was rigorous but kept us in top shape. In the league, we finished second, missing out on a spot in nationals by goal differential. I was invited to play again for the 2018-19 season but decided to play for the High School because of the atmosphere and environment.
  • 2016 Bethesda -Olney Academy
  • Notes: We trained 4 times a week, and had showcases in Indianapolis towards the end of the season. We also won the Bethesda Tournament.
  • 2015 Bethesda -Olney Academy
