Kobie Vazquez '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was around three years old.   My mom and Dad met in college as soccer players.   Soccer has been a huge part of my life.  I chose to continue to play soccer over the years making many sacrifices.  I have committed myself and sacrificed time and other activities to work hard  on self improvement as a player and person.  Throughout the years I have used my training sessions to develop, learn and grow on and off the pitch.  I implemented positive feedback from coaches and my Papa to refine those things on the pitch and in my mind that needed to be corrected to take me to the next level.  It has not been an instant result but one that has continued to take time, effort, blood, sweat and tears to develop.  I know that experiences I have had participating in soccer, church, and chorus can continue to aid me in the future.  My experiences thus far will be great reminders to me that I can do hard things as I stay focused, work hard and surround myself with great mentors and friends for the goals ahead.   I am looking forward to playing at the next level in college while continuing my education.  I am excited and eager to expanding my soccer family thru this process !!! I know Dental school won’t be a walk in the park but it is something that I have wanted to do for many years.  With continued sacrifice, hard work determination and the support of my loved ones and a soild coach and team, I am hoping to continue to experiences soccer at the next level while reaching for the stars to become a Dentist.
