Gianluca Volpara '22 Recruiting Profile

             Hi I'm Gianluca Volpara. My academic interests are mechanical or civil engineering and veterinary science. I've been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and started goalkeeping when I was 9. I'm always striving to achieve my goal of being the best athlete I can be. Even though I have a mild form of cerebral palsy, I always worked harder than anyone else to overcome that barrier and earn my spot on the field. This work ethic has carried over into my soccer training and pushed me to reach goals I thought were impossible, and continues to be a huge motivator in all areas of life.
