Brooks Davis '15 Recruiting Profile

  Attending college has been a goal of mine since as long as I can remember. Even before college has been in my sights, I have been playing Soccer. For most high school students, getting into college is enough work. I have been working to my highest capacity to not only get into the college of my choice but to also play Soccer for them. From day one my academics have been top priority. I have worked extremely hard my entire high school career to obtain the highest grades possible. I have earned honor roll my whole life, currently having a 4.0 weighted cumulative GPA. In addition to this I have spent countless hours practicing on the field. I will put the utmost effort into achieving all my athletic goals for whichever college I chose to attend. To me this is not just about a scholarship; this is about being remembered as a contributor to a team's success and putting every ounce of effort into the team. I am a top candidate for your team because of my unique strengths that set me apart from others. My sheer athleticism and work ethic on the field is uncanny. I possess the speed and strength needed to dominate any opposing player. This combined with my tactical awareness grants me the ability to position myself exactly where I need to be defensively. I am extremely versatile and never find myself stuck in one position. I can start anywhere on the field from forward, outside mid, attacking mid, defensive mid, and outside back. I could start forward and easily adjust to a defensive position during a game while still understanding the position and performing at my best. However, my athleticism alone does not make me the player that I am. My Character is a distinct and valuable part of any team. I am always looking to build relations with everyone and I never get hot headed. I can take jokes of any degree and am able to avoid bickers with teammates. Showing every player the utmost respect and understanding mistakes made on the field is one of my top priorities. Noticing low morale and discouraged teammates only makes me fight back harder and stronger. My motive has always been to work hard now and be rewarded later. I am highly interested in learning new things and becoming more educated. I always want to be the best. I am a very competitive person in every aspect of my life.
