Khelbert Ehresmann '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Khelbert Alberto Ehresmann Alvarez, I am an immigrant from Venezuela, a country torn down by a dictatorial regime, my great-grandfather migrated from Romania to Germany and my grandfather escaped Germany in WWII, also migrating to my birth country Venezuela. I know what it is like to struggle as an immigrant and that constant struggle is what has built my character all of my life to become the well-rounded man I am today; I know what it's like to start over with nothing and have to fight and work hard every day with dedication and commitment to achieve my goals; this has been reflected in my academic and athletic records. I managed to learn a new language and go from all regular classes to a top AP student in my school in just five years; similarly, I have spent these years practicing devoutly and I have seen my progression as a player; as a college student I plan on continuing this progress academically and athletically through this routine of persistent work, I haven't stopped working hard and don't plan on doing so now.  What makes me a good candidate and a good fit for your school is far from my athletic or academic abilities, but instead the constant persistency and effort that I will put into becoming a better player, student, team mate, and person every day.
