My name is Daniel McIntyre and my one passion in life is to play soccer. I am determined to do whatever it takes to make it to the next level. I train every day and have dedicated most of my time since Ii was five years old to the game of soccer. I am willing to work hard academically if it means I will play the game in college. I am working with a tutor to improve my Calculus scores and also plan to work with a tutor to improve my SAT or ACT exam results. I am primarily looking at colleges and universities here in my home state of Florida, but I am also considering schools near my grandparents in the New Hampshire area. Soccer is the most important aspect of a school that I will attend, but it is also important to me that the school I choose have a solid business program that would support my future goals.
I work as hard as I can to better myself as an athlete every day with my Dad who is a US Soccer D licensed coach, as well as with my High School and Club coaches. I am a team player and the last one to give up on the field. Whether the score is 5-0 or 0-5, I am working until the final whistle. The most unique aspect of my game is my "soccer inteIligence." I love to play midfield, set up plays and make goals happen. I would prefer to play Division 1 or 2 but I am willing to accept any offers that would mean I could play for a competitive team.
