I am Yomar Peguero (c/o 2022), Foward for Tampa Bay United 2004 ECNL (Tampa, FL). Foward is my primary position, but I can play other offensive positions in the midfield. I attend and play varsity soccer for George M. Steinbrenner High School (Lutz).
I began playing soccer at the age of ten and immediately fell in love with the game. The experience I have gained through the years has aspired me to play soccer at the highest competitive level possible. I know that playing in college would be an amazing opportunity and a great experience.
As a forward, I play fast, hard, energetic, and smart. As captain, I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to do their best. My motto is to play your hardest and give your all up to the whistle. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest-working players on and off the field. My best quality is my winning mentality, even in the toughest, most important games, I do not fold overpressure.
In the classroom, I am dedicated to my studies and work diligently to maintain my GPA.
When I am not working on the field or working in the classroom, I am at the beach with friends and listening to music. Whenever the opportunity is present I volunteer for the Special Olympics.
Ultimately I would like to find the right college match to achieve my academic goals while playing at the highest level of competition possible and becoming an even better person.
